KWSH Awarded AI Trailblazers Transformation Award 2024

KWSH-CTI was recognized by Google on 24 September 2024, for achieving the ‘AI Trailblazers Transformation Award 2024’ by Digital Industry Singapore (DISG), part of Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) for its Training and Elderly Screening project. Gen AI has demonstrated its exceptional proficiency in solving complex learning challenges by utilizing cutting-edge technology to provide unparalleled insights from masses of data. This capability has enhanced our InterRAI training processes, bringing the possibilities of Generative AI to our learners from the Community Care sector.

Our Community Training Institute (CTI) is happy to be partnering NParks and Singapore Association of Occupational Therapists (SAOT) to deliver a workshop on horticulture for fellow community care organisations, such as NTUC Health and SPD . Adopting a 'train-the-trainer' approach, the two-day workshop introduces therapeutic gardening-related activities to participants and encourages them to tap into its wealth of benefits for seniors.

KWSH has inked a Memorandum of Understanding with Temasek Polytechnic

KWSH has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Temasek Polytechnic (TP) on 30 Jan to further our commitment to fostering skills-building, learning, innovation, and advancement between the organisations in our efforts to strengthen the community care sector. Two other organisations that were invited to the event and signed MOUs with TP were Lions Befrienders and Allkin Singapore (previously known as AMKFSC).

KWSH Is Now A COJTC Champion

We have recently been accredited by ITE as a Certified On-the-Job Training Centre (COJTC) Champion! The accreditation is awarded only to organisations that fully embody the facets of a quality structured OJT system recognised by ITE, which include developing an OJT blueprint and possessing trained OJT personnel.

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS)

KWSH has signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) to build healthcare capabilities and nurture the next generation of healthcare professionals through internships, job placements, training programmes, and more.  

2023 Institute for Adult Learning (IAL) InnovPlus Challenge

KWSH participated in the 2023 institute for Adult Learning (IAL) InnovPlus Challlege on 18 July with a project that employs artificial intelligence (AI) to provide simulation-based training for staff conducting health screening for seniors in the community. We are proud to share that KWSH has emerged as one of the winners!
KWSH signed a new Memorandum of Understanding with C3A, which was announced during the launch of the new Singapore Standard SS 693 Geragogy Guidelines on Training Senior Learners on 11 Aug. The event was graced by Guest of Honour Minister for Health Ong Ye Kung.

KWSH received the Friends of Northlight Award from Northlight School (NLS) on 10 March 2023! Launched in 2022, the Award recognises the partners which the school has built purposeful collaborations with to provide learning opportunities for its students.

KWSH is now a SkillsFuture Queen Bee company – the first in Singapore’s community care sector. This was officially established through a memorandum of understanding that was inked on 13 November 2020 between KWSH, SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).
