As a specific topic, this course focuses on how design thinking can bring about medical/rehab device innovation for the rehabilitation and geriatric care sectors. The “magic” of the medical/rehab device innovation has not been successfully imparted to some health care providers because the rigor of the upstream design thinking process-centred on need finding and characterization – is not well understood or practiced. Participants will be introduced to various pillars which contribute to the innovation process and better appreciate how they result in better implementation. This course is aimed at healthcare professionals with little or no background in medical/rehab device development.
All levels of management, supervisors, healthcare practitioners and community healthcare partners
Course Fees:$1812.85 (inclusive of 7% GST)
Prevailing course fee subsidy at 90% for Singaporeans/ PRs and 45% for foreign staff working in eligible community care organisations.
