N95 Mask Fitter Respiratory Re-certification Session (Basic)


Course Overview

Course Objectives
This is a mandatory workshop for healthcare staff who is appointed as N95 Mask Fitter to conduct the mask fitting exercise for other staff in the community care organisations that are part of the MOH PPE Stockpile Programme. On completion of the workshop, participants will be able to don & doff the respirator; perform user seal check and conduct qualitative fit test for both 3M and Halyard respirators.

Participant who has attended the N95 Mask Fitting Respiratory workshop in Oct 2019, Nov 2019, Jan 2020 and Feb 2020. Participant should renew the certificate one month before the certificate expires. AIC reserves the right to allow renewal after the expiry of the certificate which must be done no later than one month after the certificate expires. Participants must provide the following information as part of the registration process:
1. Number of staff in the participant’s organization
2. Number of staff mask-fitted since the N95 Mask Fitting workshop
3. Date of the N95 Mask Fitting Workshop attended


Please Note:

A minimum of 75% attendance will be required for you to complete the programme and receive your certificate.

Target Participants

Healthcare staff who is appointed as N95 Mask Fitter in the community care organisations that are part of the MOH PPE Stockpile Programme. Upon successful completion of the N95 Mask Fitter Respiratory workshop, the mask fitter will be issued with a certificate which will be valid for 1 year. For the subsequent year, the mask fitter will require to attend the re-certification workshop for them to continue to conduct mask fitting.

Clinical & Training Manager APAC (Halyard)

Poh Wee Chin has worked for 26 years and specializes in Nursing, Sales & Marketing and Clinical Education.

Kiruthika Mohan Rajkumar

Trainer (3M)

Rajkumar has worked for 10 years and specializes in communication, active learning, leadership and problem solving. He has also been actively conducting respirator fit test training in the ‘train-the-trainer’ program for the past two years.

Course Fees: $$78.00 (excluding GST)

Prevailing course fee subsidy at 90% for Singaporeans/ PRs and 45% for foreign staff working in eligible community care organisations.
