Course Overview
COURSE DESCRIPTION / AIMS
This course covers the common ethical and legal principles relevant to Singapore’s healthcare system. Students will be introduced to the various healthcare legislations and the basic concepts of healthcare ethics as well as the common guidelines on the practice of healthcare ethics and application of legal concepts in Singapore. Through case studies, students will analyse ethical and legal issues and challenges faced by health professionals and patients. There are 5 short lessons in this course and it will take around 8 hours to complete it. Participants are required to submit simple tasks along the way. Lesson notes are available for downloading in PDF format for videos and web pages.

Programme Managers, Programme Co-ordinators, Programme Executives, Case Workers and Care Workers in the Community Care sector
Course Details
Course Fees: $133.90 (excluding GST)
Prevailing course fee subsidy at 90% for Singaporeans/ PRs and 45% for foreign staff working in eligible community care organisations.
