Critical Thinking (Intermediate)

Course Overview

On completion of the course, participants will gain an understanding of the concepts and applications of critical thinking.

  • Developing analytical skills to form better judgement.
  • Understanding the importance and value of critical and analytical thinking.
  • Learning how to use the appropriate thinking tools in different contexts.
  • Learning common pitfalls in applying such thinking tools.
  • Applying the various thinking tools using real life case studies.

 

Please Note:

A minimum of 75% attendance will be required for you to complete the programme and receive your certificate.

Target Participants

For care staff who have supervisory and guiding role; and influences workplace/processes eg: Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Senior Therapist/Principle Therapist, Enrolled Nurse, Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager, Nurse Clinician, Nurse Educator, Executive, Senior Executive, Manager, Allied Health Professional.

Mr Colin Tan

Associate Facilitator, Facilitators Network Singapore

Mr Colin is an Associate Facilitator & Trainer in FNS. He is specialised in Design and development of learning strategies and programmes,   Trainers’ training, coaching and assessment; Service quality training and consulting interventions; Team development and values integration programmes; Innovation learning and facilitation. Mr Colin has conducted programmes covering analytical, conceptual and evaluative skills; interpersonal skills; personal management and development skills and programmes for middle managerial level staff and conducted customised programmes for public and private sector organisations.

Ms Michelle Leong

Associate Facilitator | Trainer | Consultant, Facilitators Network Singapore

Ms Michelle is an Associate Facilitator/Trainer/Consultant in FNS. She is specialised in facilitated public engagement sessions, focus group discussions, strategic planning and business process re-engineering sessions. She is also involved in pre-university education and adult education. Ms Michelle is Strength Deployment Inventory® (SDI) certified.

Course Fees: $557.29 (excluding GST)

Prevailing course fee subsidy at 90% for Singaporeans/ PRs and 45% for foreign staff working in eligible community care organisations.
